PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic transportation system which can suppress an increase in an installation space even when long-distance transportation is performed.SOLUTION: A pneumatic transportation system 10 includes a transport pipe 11, feeders 20, 30 which supply waste metals into the transport pipe 11, and a gas flow generator 40 which generates a gas flow for transporting the waste metals inside the transport pipe 11. The gas flow generator 40 includes a tubular part 41 which is inserted into the middle of the transport pipe 11, and an air tank 46 which is connected to the tubular part 41 and stores compressed air inside thereof, and the gas flow generator 40 is provided in plural numbers to the transport pipe 11. The feeders 20, 30 intermittently supply the waste metals into the transport pipe 11, and the gas flow generator 40 supplies compressed air from the air tank 46 to the tubular part 41 based on the timing of passage of the waste metals through the inside of the tubular part 41. |
