PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with camera functions that eliminates processing for making characters small and reduces the computational complexity of processing for searching for an area in which a voice-input character string is to be put when superposing and recording the voice-input character on a photographed image.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes a recording unit 15 which records an image being input by an image input unit 11 at the point of time of a photographing operation with a preset number of recording pixels, a character input unit 12 to which a character string is input through conversion from voice, and a superposition unit 10b which superposes the input character string in a non-object area in the recording image. A wide-range image which is a predetermined range wider than the recording image at least at the point of time of the photographing operation is input and recorded in the image input unit 11. When the character string is too large to be in the non-object area, the superposition unit 10b shifts an image area to be finally recorded in the wide-range image and then superposes the character string so that a part of the character string overlaps the shifted image area. The recording unit 15 overwrites the image having the character string superposed to the recording image or records the image as a different image. |
