PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a hydraulic pressure to a friction element to be fastened in a reverse shift and bring a vehicle into a reverse run, even if a reverse control valve is stuck in a reverse shift transient state.SOLUTION: When a reverse shift operation is made, a hydraulic pressure controlled by a B2 pressure control valve 14 is supplied to a B2 brake through a reverse control valve 13 in a reverse shift transient state with respect to the B2 brake. When it is determined that the B2 brake is fastened substantially, the reverse control valve 13 is switched to a reverse shift completion state and a line pressure is supplied to the B2 brake. When it is determined that the reverse control valve 13 is stuck in the reverse shift transient state, the hydraulic pressure controlled by the B2 pressure control valve 14 is supplied again with respect to the B2 brake. |
