PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving device having such a structure that independence of pixels is ensured, and the pn junction is not exposed to the atmosphere even for a moment, from production to product.SOLUTION: The light-receiving device includes a light-receiving layer 3, an insulating layer opening pattern 25 located above the light-receiving layer, and a p-type selective growth layer 7 grown epitaxially from a base layer for each opening 25h of the insulating layer opening pattern so as to be higher than the wall of the opening. In the light-receiving layer, a pn junction 15 is located for each region corresponding to the selective growth layer 7, and separated from a pn junction 15 in a region corresponding to an adjacent selective growth layer 7. |
