The present invention relates to an electric rice cooker having a jog dial including a dial knob installed on the front side of a body to be able to rotate and a connection unit extended from the bottom of the dial knob as long as a predetermined length, selectively connected to inner switches of the body, and enabling a user to select functions by rotating the dial knob. The electric rice cooker having the jog dial can minimize limitation on a space for installing a display window by reducing the size of a manipulation unit for selecting the functions and can prevent a user′s hand from being slipped when the user manipulates the jog dial by forming protrusions on the outer surface of the jog dial.
