The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling a window of a vehicle door. A window opening and closing motor is operated by the switching for automatically closing the window by a relay circuit unit when a signal for locking a door is generated from a unit for generating door locking signals by remote control when a vehicle start switch is turned off in a first mode in response to the conversion of a mode selection switch for controlling the window of the vehicle door. The window opening and closing motor is operated for automatically closing the window by the switching of the relay circuit unit when the vehicle start switch is turned off in a second mode. The window opening and closing motor is operated for opening and closing the window in response to the operation of a window opening and closing switch for the set time based on the counting of a timer, thus improving user convenience. |
