PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impurity separator which, when an impurity is entangled for sticking, provides sufficient separation effect even if it is soft, with application to a line process being possible as well.SOLUTION: The impurity separator includes a rotary cylinder 3 which is provided with a sieve mesh on its side peripheral surface and is installed with a central axis rotatable in lateral direction, a drive device for rotating the rotary cylinder 3 in one direction, and a disentangle transportation comb 27 protruded on an inner peripheral surface of the rotary cylinder 3. The rotary cylinder 3 has an opening at an inlet side end part into which a mixture is fed and an outlet side end part on the side opposite to it. The disentangle transportation comb 27 includes a plurality of comb teeth 27b provided in column along the central axis direction of the rotary cylinder 3. An envelope S comprising axes of respective comb teeth 27b is tilted from the inlet side end part of the rotary cylinder 3 toward the outlet side end part, facing the opposite direction of a rotational direction A of the rotary cylinder 3. Thus, the impurity is transported while being disentangled, for effective filtering of the impurity. |
