1. An image forming apparatus supporting a near field communication (NFC) function, the image forming apparatus comprising:
a control unit to execute an application to perform an image job; and an NFC module to tag a user device having the NFC function and to receive from the tagged user device a message comprising information stored in the tagged user device, wherein the control unit analyzes setting information regarding a set up of the image job based on the included information in the received message, and the image job is performed by executing the application by using the analyzed setting information.
