PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a proper in-focus position for each of a plurality of objects when sequentially capturing images while focusing on each of the plurality of objects in sequence.SOLUTION: An image capturing device obtains in-focus positions representing positions to which a focusing lens is to be driven for focusing for each of a plurality of predefined ranging regions (S210, S212), sets up object regions on a captured image (S216), obtains a representative in-focus position for each object area based on in-focus positions within a predefined range in which in-focus positions of ranging regions corresponding to an object area are most concentrated (S217), determines priority of the object areas based on the obtained representative in-focus position for each object area if a plurality of object areas has been set (S218), and drives the focusing lens to the representative in-focus positions for the object areas in descending order of priority to shoot at a plurality of different focusing lens positions (S220). |
