PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can prevent, by means of a decoration portion, cracks occurring at a side wall portion from growing and sufficiently secure visibility of the decoration portion.SOLUTION: A plurality of ridges extending in the long side direction are provided in quadrilateral-shaped patterns 11 forming a decoration portion 10, and the quadrilateral-shaped patterns 11 with ridges facing toward different directions are arranged so that long sides A and short sides B are adjacent to each other. Respective quadrilateral patterns 11 are arranged so that the maximum length L in which a boundary portion 11b between adjacent quadrilateral patterns 11 continuously extends in the same direction becomes the total of lengths of one long side A of one quadrilateral pattern 11 and one short side B of the other quadrilateral pattern 11, thereby suppressing growth of cracks within the length of the long side A of the quadrilateral pattern 11 or the maximum length of the boundary portion 11b, and also allowing at least one of the quadrilateral patterns 11 with ridges facing toward different directions to be visually recognized even when the outer surface of the side wall portion 2 is viewed from in any direction. |
