PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage apparatus in which a cleaning performance for a drain recess is improved by generating a strong eddy current in drain water flowing into the drain recess and an impeller can be stably and normally rotated by preventing a rotary shaft of the impeller from being axially deflected or displaced from an assembly position.SOLUTION: In a drainage apparatus for draining water from a scupper 62 of a drain bowl 32 which is recessed downwards from the bottom of a sink, an impeller 88 is provided inside of the drain bowl 32. The impeller 88 includes a rotary shaft 86 and a rotary blade 138. The rotary shaft 86 is inserted into a drain trap 34 and a lower portion of the rotary shaft 86 is connected to a rotary drive device 264. The drain trap 34 includes a shaft part 194 which is fitted to a fitting hole 188 at a lower end side of the rotary shaft 86, and a bearing part 248 supporting an upper portion of the rotary shaft 86 in a rotatable manner. A stopper part 254 in an axial direction is provided in the rotary shaft 86, and a stopper abutting part 256 which is abutted to the stopper part 254 to regulate upward movement of the rotary shaft 86 is provided in the bearing part 248, respectively. |
