PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater system capable of economically operating a hot water storage water heater and capable of suppressing that electric power demand for operating the hot water storage water heater and electric power demand for charging an electric vehicle compete with each other.SOLUTION: A hot water storage type water heater includes: a heating means for heating water; a hot water storage type water heater 1 having a hot water storage tank for storing hot water heated by the heating means and is produced; a charge time zone recording means (HEMS controller 22) for recording a charge time zone as a time zone during which an electric vehicle 25 is charged or a time zone during which the electric vehicle is connected with a charging device; a time zone estimating means (HEMS controller 22) for estimating the charge time zone or a time zone relating to the charge time zone based on the past charge time zone recorded by the charge time zone recording means; and a water heater control means (control part 6) which controls the operation of the hot water storage type water heater 1 based on information estimated by the time zone estimating means.
