Video extensiometer, namely apparatus for measuring of extension of a probe (2) during a tension test, comprising a tensioning device (1) furnished with a fixed jaw (11) and a movable jaw (12) which are adapted to hold and load each probe (2), a video camera (3) directed towards said probe (2), a contrast screen (5) located behind said probe (2) opposite to said camera (3), as well as a computer (4) adapted for recording pictures of the probe (2) and processing the data related to said pictures in accordance with a pre-defined algorithm for the purposes to calculate relative elongation of the tensioned and extended probe (2). |
