<p>Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a mobility enhancement method and device, the method comprising: receiving a measurement value from a terminal; using the measurement value to match a channel or to estimate channel attenuation so as to obtain a current channel model, then predicting the channel attenuation or channel model within a certain time period in the future according to the current channel model; conducting self-simulation according to the channel model or channel attenuation within a certain time period in the future, so as to obtain a mobility related parameter; determining measurement configuration according to the mobility related parameter, and transmitting the measurement configuration to the terminal. The solution predicts a channel attenuation value within a certain time period in the future according to a currently measured channel attenuation value, and conducts quick and dynamic simulation based on the accurate predicated value, so as to determine a parameter used for a switching algorithm within a certain time period, thus decreasing switching failure rate and improving switching performance for a user.</p> |
