The present invention relates to a street light and, more specifically, to a street light capable of forming a storage battery appropriate for the generation capacity of a solar panel installed in the street light by inserting cells individually and forming storage units. To that end, the present invention includes: a pillar; a solar panel which is installed at one side of the top of the pillar, collects solar light, and generates power; and a storage battery which is installed inside the pillar to store the power generated by the solar panel. In the storage battery, a plurality of storage units is connected to each other through circuits. Each storage unit includes: unit cells; a cell case which includes an opening on the top for the cells to be inserted and a vertical arrangement space for the cells inserted through the opening to be arranged in a line inside; connection terminal units which are installed at both sides inside the cell case separately in the longitudinal direction and are connected to both terminals of the cells; an elasticity bunch which is installed inside the cell case to be elastically movable by an elastic spring and pushes the cells inserted in the vertical arrangement space upwardly; and a latch projection which his formed at the edge of the top of the cell case and prevents the cells inserted in the vertical arrangement space from escaping through the opening. |
