Customizable keypress tones and method of installing

A method for loading a customizable keypress tone package on a desired electronic device includes defining a customizable keypress tone package. The customizable keypress tone package can include one or more customizable keypress tones and can optionally include one or more customizable visual aids. A user requests installation of the defined customizable keypress tone package on the electronic device and the network sends the defined customizable keypress tone package to the electronic device. Once the device receives the package, the device installs the defined customizable keypress tone package on the electronic device.

1. A system comprising:
a processor; and a tangible computer-readable storage device being in communication with the processor and having stored thereon a customizable media feedback software package that at least:
includes an audio media file that (a) is assigned to a device function associated with making a communication including initiating a call and (b) includes pre-programmed audio media including a voice saying at least one word corresponding to a single input to be provided to the communication device by the user to initiate the function associated with making the call;includes a visual media file, distinct from the audio file, that (a) is assigned to the device function including initiating the call and (b) includes pre-programmed visual media including a video of an actual person or animated person or character saying the at least one word corresponding to the single input to be provided to the communication device by the user to initiate the function associated with making the call; andwhen executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:
receiving the single input from a user of the communication device to initiate the call; anddelivering, in response to receiving the single input from the user to initiate the call, to the user of the communication device:
the audio media, of the audio media file, including the voice saying the at least one word corresponding to the single input provided by the user to the communication device; andthe visual media, of the visual media file, including the video of the actual person or animated person or character saying the at least one word corresponding to the single input provided by the user to the communication device.
