PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured block-like play device which broad age groups from children to the elderly can play happily.SOLUTION: A block-like play device comprises a cubic block 10, the six faces of the cubic block 10 having longitudinal grooves 11, lateral grooves 12, and height-directional grooves 13 formed respectively in a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction, and a height direction, each groove having an equal width to each other. The longitudinal grooves 11, the lateral grooves 12, and the height-directional grooves 13 are adapted to communicate with each other at intersecting positions and ridgelines. Braided cords 16, having a thickness equal to the width of the grooves 11, 12, and 13, are wrapped around the cubic block 10 such that braided cords fill grooves while being bent at right angles at intersecting positions, and the game is over when all of the grooves are filled with braided cords. |
