PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a data management device for performing processing to allow new data to be browsable as quickly as possible.SOLUTION: A data management device includes: a plurality of storage devices 10 for writing in which document data are recorded; a storage device 20 for swap in which the document data to be processed and index data created by processing the document data are stored; a plurality of storage devices for browsing in which the document data and the index data for allowing the document data to be browsable are stored; collection processing means 51 for collecting the document data, and for allowing one storage device for writing to record the document data, and for duplicating the document data to the storage device 20 for swap for each predetermined unit; index processing means 52 for creating the index data on the basis of the document data stored in the storage device 20 for swap, and for allowing the storage device 20 for swap to store the index data; and availability processing means 53 for allowing the document data stored in the storage device 20 for swap to be browsable. |
