PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of appropriately performing an inverted sheet alignment operation.SOLUTION: An image recording device comprises: paired transport rollers and paired inversion rollers making normal rotations and inverse rotations depending on a rotational direction of a transport motor; and paired re-transport rollers constituted by a pendulum gear mechanism, and making a normal rotation irrespective or the rotational direction of the transport motor. If it is determined that a sheet passing through a second transport path reaches the paired transport rollers (S16: Yes), a rotational-direction switching process for switching rotation of the transport motor from the other of a normal rotation and an inverse rotation to one (S17) is executed. In an alignment operation for allowing a tip end of the sheet to reach a print start position opposite to a recording unit, if it is determined that a size of the sheet is equal to or larger than a transport length from the paired inversion rollers to the paired transport rollers (S18: Yes), a first rotation-amount change process for increasing a rotation amount of the transport motor 71 from a case where the size of the sheet is smaller than the transport length (S19) is executed. |
