<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a subnet from being segmented in an IP network.SOLUTION: When disconnection of a line within a subnet is detected, a first router has an address different from a network address of the subnet with respect to an external network. An ARP response is representatively performed with respect to a packet addressed to a device under control of a second router, among packets from devices under control of the first router. A destination network address of a packet received from the second router is returned to the original and transferred to the device under control of the first router. The second router changes a destination network address of a packet addressed to the device under control of the first router among packets received from the external network and transfers the packet. An ARP response is representatively performed with respect to the packet addressed to the device under control of the first router among packets from devices under control of the second router, and the packet is transferred after changing the destination network address thereof.</p> |
