The present invention relates to an IV injection amount detection device capable of guaranteeing a break time of a patient by detecting a residual amount of IV injection and preventing a safety accident. The IV injection amount detection device comprises an input unit which inputs a residual target value of a IV injection and a minimum residual target value of the IV injection inside a case of the IV injection amount detection device; a display unit which indicates the target value inputted and a current residual amount of the IV injection and an estimated time to reach to the target value; a storing unit which stores the residual target value of the IV injection and the minimum residual target value of the IV injection; a weight measuring unit which measures the weight of the IV injection; a signal unit which transmits weight related information of the IV injection measured; a warning unit which sounds alarms differently when the residual target value of the IV injection and the minimum residual target value of the IV injection are arrived; a control unit which calculates the residual amount of the IV injection and the estimated time to reach to the target value based on the weight measured in the weight measuring unit and outputs the calculation result to the display unit, the signal unit, and the warning unit; and a power unit for providing power which is necessary for the other components through the control unit. A device holder capable of hanging the IV injection amount detection device on an IV injection holder is formed on the central upper side of the case. The IV injection amount detection device additionally comprises a remote controller which is connected to the case of the IV injection amount detection device with a wire so that a patient who stays on a bed can check the residual amount of the IV injection and an estimated arrival time of the residual target value of the IV injection.
