The present invention relating to an electronic signature system using a touch screen terminal and a method thereof comprises; a display part (110) for displaying an electronic document; a sensing part (120) for sensing a touch signal, a touch & drag signal or a finish button touch signal; and a controller (130), in the case that the touch signal provided from the sensing part is inputted in a signature region, for controlling the display part to display the electronic document where the signature region is enlarged to match a preset ratio, for updating the electronic document to receive the touch & drag signal inputted in the signature region from the sensing part and to include signature information corresponding to the touch & drag signal in the signature region, and for controlling the display part to receive the finish button touch signal from the sensing part and to display the electronic document reduced to match a preset ratio. The present invention, in case that signature information in a user's own handwriting is necessary for the user's identification on the electronic document, enables the user to input a touch on an LCD screen by hand or with a stylus pen, displays the input information on the electronic document, concurrently includes the input information in the electronic document and circulates the electronic document, therefore maximizes the functional merits of the electronic signature, improves user convenience and makes possible delicate information collection.
