The present invention relates to a position control apparatus for a heavy load which can automatically control a mounting or assembling position of heavy loads to be mounted or assembled by using a sensor. The position control apparatus includes at least one first sensor provided at one assembling end of a first heavy load; at least one second sensor provided at an assembling end of a second heavy load assembled with the first heavy load; and an alarm part connected to any one of the first and second sensors to notify that the assembling positions of the first and second heavy loads coincide with each other, on the basis of the detection signal outputted as the first and second sensors are positioned in a straight line or come into contact with each other. Therefore, the heavy loads can be quickly and correctly positioned at the mounting or assembling position, thereby reducing various accidents. |
