The present invention discloses a composition for inactivating ovarian functions using lactic acid not to cause the impairment of growth and not to hinder the quality or safety of the meat when the composition is injected into animals for inactivating their ovarian functions. For this, the present invention comprises 10-90 wt% of the lactic acid and 10-90 wt% of bulking agent. Since parenchymal tissues in the ovary loss their functions, if the composition according to the present invention is topically injected into the ovary, the estrus is controlled so improving growth rate and keeping their appetite, thereby promoting the increases in meat production. Also, the inactivation of the ovarian functions is completed with only one microinjection so that the lactic acid does not remain in the meat. The present invention has advantages of producing the environment-friendly certificated livestock products and low costs for the inactivation since the withdrawal period according to the injection of the composition is not necessary and the composition does not increase the level of the lactic acid in the blood.
