PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify complicated lubrication grease sealing work of a sealed rolling bearing having a double contact seal, and to put lubrication grease in a clearance gap between an inner-side contact seal and an outer-side contact seal to efficiently have dust-proof and water-proof actions.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing has a double seal structure. When a bearing space between an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 1 is sealed with lubrication grease G, a bearing space at an inner side further from an inner-side annular contact seal 5 is preferably sealed, before initial rotation, with the lubrication grease G of a volume within a volume range of 40-90% of the whole spatial volume of the bearing space, and more than 80% and 200% or less of a static space volume free from passing of a rolling element 3 and its cage 4 in rotating the bearing. A part of the lubrication grease G is moved by the required amount to the space of the clearance gap of the annular contact seals 5, 6 of the inner side and the outer side by bearing rotation such as initial rotation, and thus sealing work of the lubrication grease in the sealed rolling bearing can be simplified, desired dust-proof and water-proof actions can be exerted, and rotation can be stably continued with high durability. |
