Method for performing a digital transaction using a mobile terminal, having a cash system that is connected to a wireless local area network, comprising the following steps: - production of a unique digital code by the cash system that is used for initiating the transaction; - automatic enabling of network access to the wireless local area network after production of the unique digital code, with access to the wireless network being permitted by the digital code; - connection of the mobile terminal to the local area network using the digital code and provision of information from the terminal for the cash system; - after the information has been obtained by the cash system from the terminal, the cash system provides clearance for the transaction. |
