摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate processing while suppressing the useless consumption of power even when program abnormality occurs in an in-vehicle electronic control device configured such that when program abnormality is determined by memory check, a CPU(microcomputer) is resets by itself.SOLUTION: A CPU periodically performs memory check, and when determining that the storage content of the memory is abnormal, writes abnormality determination frequency (error frequency) in an error frequency storage register 32, and resets the CPU itself. Just after the reset of the CPU, a comparator 34 determines whether or not the error frequency stored in the error frequency storage register 32 is equal to or more than an error determination threshold before first memory check is performed. When the error frequency is equal to or more than the error determination threshold, an activation destination determiner 36 allows the CPU to execute a specific error handling processing program among programs in the memory.
