PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester-based binder resin composition for a toner, capable of achieving both of low temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property of a toner obtained, and a toner for electrostatic charge image development comprising the above polyester-based binder resin composition for a toner.SOLUTION: The polyester-based binder resin composition for a toner comprises a cyclic polyester (A) and a linear polyester resin (B), in which an alcohol component of the cyclic polyester (A) contains an aliphatic diol having a hydroxyl group bonded to a secondary carbon atom; an alcohol component of the linear polyester resin (B) contains an aliphatic diol having a hydroxyl group bonded to a secondary carbon atom; and a mass ratio of the cyclic polyester (A) to the linear polyester resin (B) in the binder resin composition (cyclic polyester (A)/linear polyester resin (B)) is 0.01/99.99 to 4.0/96.0. A production method of the binder resin composition, and a toner for electrostatic charge image development containing the above binder resin are also disclosed. |
