A frame, Fig. 2, carrying electrical components has side rails 22 which engage over corresponding side rails 7, Fig. 1, on the cradle of a rack when the frame is being pushed into position on the rack, the rails providing a guiding to the electrical contacts 24 on the frame roughly towards corresponding contacts 10 on the rack. As the frame is pushed towards its final position pegs such as 25 engage in holes 13 to position the frame accurately before the electrical contacts 10, 24 come into engagement. The frame is held in final position by a screw 26 engaging a tapped hole 14. Access to contacts 24 and terminals 29 can be obtained through apertures 27, 28 which are covered by a removable plate 30. Access to contacts 10 is obtained through an aperture 17, the leads 15, 16 from cable 4 being covered by a dustplate 18.
