PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposit removing device capable of effectively removing deposit attached to a detection sensor of a transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: A brush 20 including a plurality of bristles 21 of a length to be kept into contact with a sensing surface 110 of a detection sensor 10, is disposed on an outer peripheral face 220A of a target 220, and a cover 30 having a flange portion 31 extended outward, is disposed on a peripheral edge portion of the sensing surface 110 of the detection sensor 10. At least a part of the bristles 21 of the brush 20 has a length over an outer peripheral edge portion of the flange portion 31 at the tip of the part of the bristles 21 on a prescribed position at least within a movable range in shifting motion and selecting motion of the target 220. Thus not only the deposit attached to the detection sensor 10 but also deposit attached to the brush 20 can be scraped off by the flange portion 31. |
