PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for a display device capable of contributing to high-accuracy reading of information from the outside.SOLUTION: A substrate 50 is disposed opposite to a back substrate 70 comprising an optical sensor 81. A substrate comprises: base material 51; and an optical filter part 61 formed at a position to confront the optical sensor. The maximum transmittance of an optical filter part for light with wavelength of 380 to 630 nm is 1% or less. The maximum transmittance of the optical filter part for light with wavelength of 630-750 nm is 3% or less. Transmittance of the optical filter part for light with wavelength of 830 nm is 85% or more.
