<p>An analog-to-digital converter system comprises an analog-to-digital converter circuit (ADC), a reference compensation block (COMP) and a reference terminal (REF1) for receiving an analog first reference signal (sref1). The analog-to-digital converter circuit (ADC) has a reference input (REF2) and a signal input (SIG) and is configured to generate a digital output signal (dig), which corresponds to an analog input signal (ssig) being present at the signal input (SIG), on the basis of the input signal (ssig) and an analog second reference signal (sref2) being present at the reference input (REF2). The reference compensation block (COMP) is configured to generate the second reference signal (sref2) by superposing a signal being derived from the input signal (ssig), in particular being proportional to the input signal (ssig), onto the first reference signal (sref1).</p> |
