Substance of the method consists in evaluating the enzyme activity of aconitase and the concentration of citrate in the blood serum, and calculating the free-radical homeostasis (FH) coefficient by formula. If FH is 0.99 or less, the absence of the liver pathology is stated. If FH is more than 0.99 and less than 1.83, the inactive liver pathology is observed.
