PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable key of which the junction part between a grip and a key blade does not break even when the portable key is inserted into a key hole and an unlock operation is performed.SOLUTION: A portable key comprises a key blade which is rotatably provided from a key storage part 15 of a grip to a neutral position approximately orthogonal to the front end face and coacts with an operation button 12, in which the tip of the grip is provided with neutrality holding means for holding the neutral position of the key blade, the neutrality holding means consists of: an operation button which fits into a fitting hole 18 formed at the tip of the grip and whose engagement part 12b engages into a part 21 to be engaged formed at a peripheral wall part of the fitting hole; and an energization spring 11 which is provided to a fixed support shaft 5 so as to constantly energize the operation button in a direction to engage into the grip, such a load as to excess the neutral position is applied to the key blade at a state that the neutrality holding means holds the neutral position of the key blade, the key blade further rotates from the neutral position to a tilted state corresponding to fall of the operation button which is guided to a guide inclined face of the part to be engaged against spring force of the energization spring. |
