METHOD FOR BIO-CONVERSION OF GINSENOSIDES FROM WILD TYPE GINSENG HAVING ANTICANCER EFFICACY

The present invention is composed of the steps of: extracting ginsenoside from a wild cultivated ginseng for each regional group; converting into ginsenoside glycosides according to an amount of added glycoside converting enzyme or lactic acid bacteria and fermentation conditions (time, temperature, pH); and evaluating anticancer activities of the converted ginsenoside glycosides by using a variety of cell lines. The present invention provides a technique to increase amounts of ginsenoside Rg2, Rg3, and Rh2 which are recognized to have anticancer activity of the wild cultivated ginseng.
