PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device for emitting white light which assumes a natural color, and which exhibits excellent color saturation especially in green, yellow, and red.SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting device has a semiconductor luminous element having an emission peak wavelength in 360 nm to 480 nm inclusive, and a wavelength conversion unit including a green phosphor and a red phosphor for absorbing at least part of incident light entered from the semiconductor luminous element and ejecting outgoing light in a wavelength differing from that of the incident light. By combining blue, green, and red lights ejected via the wavelength conversion unit, the semiconductor light-emitting device emits white light whose deviation duv from a black body radiation locus in a uv chromaticity diagram is -0.02 to 0.02 inclusive, being characterized in that the intensity of a spectral curve of the white light in a spectral distribution diagram, in which the white light is standardized by a beam, has a salient in the wavelength range 640 nm to 670 nm inclusive with respect to the intensity of a spectral curve of a color rendering evaluation-use standard light standardized by a beam, and has a first recess in the wavelength range 570 nm to 620 nm inclusive and a second recess in the wavelength range 480 nm to 520 nm inclusive. |
