Disclosed are a method for measuring the spin character of a rotating body and an apparatus thereof. A method for measuring the spin character of a rotating body according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a step of generating a correction matrix based on correction information on the internal variable of a measuring apparatus and correction information on an external variable, a step of acquiring spin images with regard to the rotating body according to different magnification, and a step of generating the reference positions of the rotating body based on the correction matrix and the position information of the rotating images. According to the present invention, the spin character of the rotating body can be accurately measured.
