PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square secondary battery having high reliability.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for manufacturing a square secondary battery comprising: a flat-shaped electrode body having a first wound electrode core having a region positioned between the first bent portion and the second bent portion in which a first electrode core is bundled; and a first collector plate having a connection part and an extension part connected to the outermost face of the region in which the first electrode core is bundled, the manufacturing method of the square secondary battery having a connection process in which, while the extension part of the first collector plate and the first bent portion are separated, the connection part of the first collector plate is connected to the region in which the first electrode core is bundled. |
