The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carrier suitable for transporting a cell sheet, and having excellent adhesion and detachability. A carrier sheet for transporting a transplant cell sheet is provided, the carrier comprising a cell sheet-adhering covering layer capable of responding under conditions of cell non-impairment, and a support layer composed of a substrate allowed as a medical use material. A cell sheet adhering to the covering layer of the carrier is applied to a transplant location, and conditions of cell non-impairment are used, whereby the covering layer can be detachably removed while the cell sheet is left in the transplant location.
