The present invention relates to a composition for preparation of powdered dressing and a preparation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for preparation of powdered dressing and a preparation method thereof and to powdered dressing prepared by using the composition for preparation of powdered dressing and a preparation method thereof, the composition for preparation of powdered dressing comprising: powdered oil and fat and modified starch, thereby allowing preparation of dressing in a powder form which is easy to carry and convenient for use; preventing separation of oil from the dressing during storage and distribution; allowing the dressing to have water solubility using moisture in a vegetable when the dressing is applied to the vegetable; and enhancing adhesion between the vegetable and the dressing by imparting viscosity to the dressing.
