The apparatus has a heating device such as fan coil unit, that includes a ventilator (21) and a fluid i.e. water, circulation circuit. An instantaneous electric heating unit (3), and an ambient temperature determination unit (4) for determination of ambient temperature (Tamb). A temperature set-point (Tc) is defined, and total heating power (P1) that is required to reach the temperature set-point is determined. A distribution unit (6) is arranged to distribute power between the heating device and electric heating unit for providing total heating power to provide overall heating.
