A ship loading system, having a movable boom section with an internal conveyor belt attached to a frame section, for carrying material to be loaded into a hold of a vessel. A cargo discharge chute positioned on the boom section discharges materials received from the boom section into the hold of the vessel, and a selectively retractable cover extends over the boom section, the hold of the vessel and the cargo discharge chute, thereby providing all-weather loading capability. |
