The present application provides for a compound of formula: (see above formula) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, compositions or combinations containing such compounds and uses thereof for inhibiting cytochrome P450 monooxygenase or for modifying the pharmacokinetics of a drug which is metabolized by cytochrome P450 monooxygenase.
