摘要 The present invention relates to an alignment device and method for assembling a rotor of a coolant pump motor used for precisely aligning a position of the rotor within a stator in a motor for driving a large sized coolant pump in a power plant. The present invention provides the alignment device for assembling the rotor of the coolant pump motor, comprising: a clamp member for wrapping around a rotor shaft to protect the rotor shaft; X direction alignment mechanisms coupled in a linear direction between both sides of the clamp member and fixing members respectively for adjusting a position in an X direction and performing arrangement; Y direction alignment mechanisms coupled in a linear direction between both sides of the clamp member and the fixing members respectively for adjusting a position in a Y direction and performing arrangement; and a dial gauge installed at the fixing member to touch a surface of a rotary shaft, wherein the clamp member includes: an arc type coupling part positioned at an inner side and configured to have a structure of wrapping around the rotary shaft; extended parts extended from both side ends of the arc type coupling part, having coupling holes which coupling bolts are inserted into and are coupled to, and configured to couple coupling nuts to the coupling bolts; and protruding coupling parts arranged to protrude at 90 degree intervals on circumference of the arc type coupling part and forming screw thread grooves to which one sides of the alignment mechanisms are screw-coupled.
