A condition monitoring system according to an aspect of the present invention includes a sensor installed at a facility to generate a signal on an operation state of the facility; a data collector connected to the sensor to collect a signal from the sensor; a data combiner connected to the data collector to combine data provided from a plurality of data collectors; a monitoring unit to monitor a state of the facility based on the data provided from the data combiner; and a virtual sensor connected to the sensor to generate a signal indicating that the facility fails.
