The present invention relates to a temperature measuring instrument and a temperature measuring method. The temperature measuring instrument according to the present invention comprises a central controller, a temperature measuring unit, and an optical line, wherein the optical line connects the central controller and the temperature measuring unit; the central controller supplies optical energy to the temperature measuring unit through the optical line; and the temperature measuring unit measures the temperature of a target using the optical energy when the optical energy is received through the optical line, converts the temperature into an optical signal, and then transmits the optical signal to the central controller through the optical line. According to the present invention, an electric insulation property between the central controller and the temperature measuring unit of the temperature measuring instrument can be secured by connecting the central controller and the temperature measuring unit using the optical line so that the temperature measuring instrument can measure the temperature of the target efficiently. |
