With this carbon nanotube bonded conductor material substrate (4) fabrication method, carbon nanotubes (2) are grown in a perpendicular orientation upon a surface of a substrate for growth (1). Thereafter, the leading ends of the carbon nanotubes are brought into contact in an approximately perpendicular direction upon a conductive substrate (3) for transfer which has unevennesses upon the surface thereof. Thereafter, by either compression, or compression and vibration, the carbon nanotubes (2) are transferred from the substrate for growth (1) to the conductive substrate for transfer (3).
