The ring has a pump piston (28) moved in a pump cylinder. A supporting side (42) turns toward the pump cylinder and a sealing side (26) turns towards the pump piston. A pressure side (50) operates in a direction of a pressure chamber (30), and the sealing side lies opposite to the supporting side. The pressure side with the supporting side is planar-designed with supporting lips (44, 46). The supporting lips include equivalent large outer diameter. The sealing side comprises a sealing bead (32) and two converging sealing edges (34, 36).
