摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for appropriately controlling a cooling function of a cooling water circulation device.SOLUTION: A control circuit 11 of a welding power supply device 1 is made to control a cooling function of a cooling water circulation device 6 based on temperature T detected by a thermistor 5 arranged at a welding torch 2. The cooling function is strengthened when the temperature T is higher than an upper limit threshold T, so that damage to the welding torch 2 due to the delay of water temperature rise of cooling water can be suppressed. Also, the cooling function is suppressed when the temperature T is lower than a lower limit threshold T, so that waste of electric power can be suppressed, which occurs when the cooling function operates wastefully due to the delay of the water temperature drop of the cooling water.
