PURPOSE:To detect defective contact between an IC terminal and a socket terminal easily by forming electric contacts receiving each lead root section in the IC terminal and an electric contact receiving a lead nose section for an IC and leading out both contacts to the outside. CONSTITUTION:The anode side of an LED2 is connected to a common-anode terminal 4 through a resistor 6 and the cathode side of the LED2 to a receiving port 1 for an IC terminal respectively. A terminal 3 for IC socket itself is lead out to the outside. When an IC is not inserted, the receiving port 1 and the terminal 3 are brought to an open state, and the LED2 is not lit. When the IC5 is inserted normally, on the other hand, the receiving port 1 and the terminal 3 are short-circuited. The terminal 4 is connected to a common power supply. When the receiving port 1 and the terminal 3 are brought to a conductive state, the LED2 is lit by bringing a grounding potential point into contact with the pin 3 under the state. When the receiving port 1 and the terminal 3 are brought to a non-conductive state though the IC5 is inserted, on the other hand, the LED2 is not lit. |
